Restaurateur, grew up in Harvard

Bryan Lee, 34, who grew up in Harvard, died on July 12 after a valiant fight with cancer. Born in Concord on January 31, 1973, he was the son of Doug and Dee Lee of Prospect Hill Road and the sister of Jennifer Lee of California.
Bryan graduated from the Fenn School of Concord in 1988 and from Phillips Academy in Andover in 1991, and received his BS in engineering from Tufts University in 1995. He spent the last seven years living and working in Colorado, where he achieved his life’s dream of opening a restaurant. Besides cooking, he enjoyed skiing and mountain biking.
He returned to Harvard recently to be near the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In addition to his parents and sister, Bryan is survived by his wife of two years, Jill Lee, and his daughter, Cassidy Lee, both of Harvard.
A memorial service was held at the Congregational Church July 21. Burial was private. Instead of flowers, those who wish to do so may make a contribution in Bryan’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
