I support Marie Sobalvarro for Harvard Selectman. I have been fortunate to work with Marie on the Devens questions and other important issues we face. Marie listens to people, digs for facts, and builds consensus. Her analytical skills are unsurpassed. But governing is not just about numbers; it is about the choices we make as a town. I know that Marie will never forget that our choices affect real people. Her years of service on the Finance Committee give her the experience and insight to be an effective selectman from day one. I think she is ready for this job and I’m delighted she is willing to serve our town. I urge residents to vote for Marie on Dec. 8.
