Michael Girard, son of Donald and Michele Girard of Pinnacle Road, has been inducted into the Colgate University chapter of the national scholastic honorary society of Phi Eta Sigma, which recognizes the outstanding academic achievement of first-year students. Girard, a Colgate sophomore, is a 2008 graduate of the Bromfield School.
