At 7:54 a.m., police responded to an accident near the intersection of Ayer and Poor Farm roads. No one was injured, and the cars had only scuff marks on them, police say. At 2:22 p.m., a caller reported seeing two men at the observatory on Pinnacle Road. The men were employees there and not trespassers, police report. At 3:42 p.m., police say, a caller reported that his wife, upon returning to her home on Brown Road, saw a nude man touching a car in their driveway. According to police, the woman honked her horn at the man, who then ran away. Harvard Police, along with Bolton Police and the State Police, searched the area for the man, but could not find him. The family was not familiar with the man who was in their driveway, police say.
Wednesday, September 7
At 9:18 a.m., a resident of Littleton Road reported a trespasser on the property. Police were unable to find the trespasser and told the resident to contact them if the person returned. At 11:22 a.m., police investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident on Ayer Road near Whitney Road. According to police, the first car stopped for the construction there and the second car rear-ended the first car. The driver of the second car was given a written warning and the car had to be towed away, police say. At 9:10 p.m., a resident of West Bare Hill Road reported the lights were on in a nearby horse barn. Police checked the area and reported nothing out of the ordinary.
Thursday, September 8
At 2:56 p.m., a caller reported seeing someone entering the Holy Hill conservation area with a bow and deer stand. Archery hunting season has not yet started. The responding officer did not locate a person with a bow and a detective was assigned to the case, police say.

Saturday, September 10
At 1:49 a.m., a caller reported hearing people shouting on the road near the intersection of Ayer and Old Shirley roads. Whoever was yelling was gone on arrival, police say. At 5:23 p.m., a man called police to report that his wife was being pestered by an elderly man at McCurdy Track on Lancaster County Road. The husband and wife did not know the man, police say. According to police, the man was gone when an officer arrived.
Sunday, September 11
At 4:08 a.m., a resident of Still River Road called police and reported her 15 year-old daughter was missing. The girl, who was soon found near the house, said she had gone for a walk, police say. At 8:28 p.m., more than one caller reported hearing fireworks in the area of Finn Road and Hillcrest Drive. Officers checked the area but found nothing, police say.
