Volunteers needed for meal delivery

If you have one or two hours to spare at noontime during the week, the Council on Aging can use your help. The council serves meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon at Hildreth House and also delivers Meals on Wheels. Volunteers pickup the meals at Hildreth House and deliver to home-bound seniors. It is not a huge commitment, but an important one. Call 978-456-4120 for more information.

On the road with COA

The Council on Aging will travel to the spectacular Peabody Essex Museum in Salem on Wednesday, Jan. 28. The museum’s collection offers outstanding works, primarily from the 1700s, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, textiles, architecture, and decorative objects. The van will leave Hildreth House at 9 a.m. and return around 3 p.m. The cost of the trip is $25 plus lunch. Payment is due by Wednesday, Jan. 14.
