At its Tuesday night meeting, the first since Town Election, the Board of Selectmen chose new officers, electing Ken Swanton chairman, Stu Sklar vice chairman, and new member Alice von Loesecke clerk. All three votes were unanimous.
The Planning Board also held officer elections at its meeting Monday night, with members voting to retain their positions from last year. Kara Minar will continue to serve as chairwoman, Erin McBee will resume her role as vice chairwoman, and Land-Use Assistant Liz Allard will maintain her position as clerk.
It remains to be determined if current town planner Bill Scanlan will continue in his role. The contracted position was approved by voters at the Annual Town Meeting last month, but the job must go out to bid. The board is currently preparing a request for proposals from interested applicants.
