Nick Rindenello of Bowers Road took first place in Emerson Hospital’s annual 5K Run/Walk for Cancer on June 4 with a time of 15 minutes, 57 seconds. Rindenello works as a patient care technician in Emerson’s emergency department. With nearly 700 participants, the event raised a record-breaking $107,700 this year, with all proceeds supporting cancer care for patients at the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital–Bethke.
