Carlson Orchards, 115 Oak Hill Road

Pick-your-own apples; varieties change every few days, so check Facebook page. Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Cortland, Macoun, Gala, Empire, and Northern Spy apples available in the store. Corn until at least Columbus Day, zucchini, summer squash, green peppers, green beans, winter squash (acorn, buttercup, and butternut) from Brookdale Fruit Farm in Hollis, New Hampshire.


Doe Orchards, 327 Ayer Road

Pick-your-own Macoun, Fuji, Gala, Ruby Mac, Cortland, McIntosh, Golden Supreme, Jonagold, and Mutsu apples. All of those varieties except Mutsu are available at the stand, as well as Honeycrisp. Pumpkins, gourds, honey, and half gallons of cider are also at the stand.


Harvard General Store, 1 Still River Road

A variety of produce from Crooked Row Fields in Concord.


Old Frog Pond Farm, 38 Eldridge Road

Pick-your-own organic raspberries; tomatoes, kale, garlic, and raspberry jam at the stand by the house. No pick-your-own apples this year.


Westward Orchards, 178 Massachusetts Avenue

Pick-your-own Golden and Red Delicious, McIntosh, and Cortland apples. All those varieties available in the store as well, along with Granny Smith and Roxbury Russet apples, and Asian, Bosc, and Red Bartlett pears. Also their own pumpkins, gourds, onions, shallots, winter squash, celery, lettuce, cucumbers, beans, broccoli, carrots, summer squash, zucchini, Swiss chard, kale, peppers, leeks, onions, eggplant, beets, cabbage, tomatoes (including heirloom and cherry), potatoes, and mixed herbs.


Willard Farm, 218 Still River Road

Corn, hot peppers, Red Norland and Green Mountain potatoes, as well as some “anonymous spuds.” Pumpkins and gourds of all shapes and sizes, and lots of varieties of winter squash, including butternut, acorn, delicata, carnival, buttercup, blue Hubbard, and cushaw. A few hot pepper plants in pots, already producing peppers.
