Ian Hanson of Ohlin Lane signed a letter of intent to play baseball with Merrimack College in Andover at a ceremony at the Bromfield School Nov. 14. Hanson plays catcher on the Bromfield baseball team. He was named a mid-Wach all-star last spring after ending the season with a batting average of .351, hitting 4 home runs, and batting in 17 runs.He also played with the Northeast Hurricanes Club last summer.
