Bromfield seventh-grader Ally Farren participated January 7 in the 2007 Colonial Classic Synchronized Skating Competition and 2007 World Junior Challenge Cup at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell as a member of the Colonials Juvenile Synchronized Skating team representing the Acton-Boxboro Colonial Figure Skating Club.
Farren was cheered on by many friends and family members who watched her team take home the gold medal, including proud parents Jack and Kris, sister Camryn, and her biggest fans, grandparents Jack and Toni Purdy of Littleton Road.
The team competes next at the Eastern Sectional Championships in Providence, Rhode Island, with hopes of qualifying to compete at the 2007 National Synchronized Skating Championships next month in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
