On Saturday, Nov. 17, the Tae Kwon Do Karate Club (TKDKC) of Harvard participated in the 25th anniversary TKDKC New England Invitational Tournament at the Alvirne High School in Hudson, N.H. Harvard students competed with 160 other Massachusetts and New Hampshire students from the Tae Kwon Do Karate Club, the Side Kick Tae Kwon Do Club, and the Kenpo Academy of Self Defense. There were 47 student and black belt events at the tournament. Harvard students competed in kata, breaking, sparring, and weapons, and brought home seven first-, second-, and third-place trophies.
