Thanks from the Lions

April 24, 2009

On behalf of the Harvard Lions Club I would like to thank everyone who supported our annual fruit sale fundraiser this year by purchasing grapefruit and/or oranges. This year’s fundraiser was a success because of those of you who supported our efforts even in these tough economic times. I would also like to send out a special thanks to the Carlson brothers, Franklin, Robert, and Bruce, who every year give their time, equipment, and cooler facilities to help us store, load, transport, and maintain the freshness of the fruit. Without their help we would not be able to hold this fundraising event.

Last, but not least, I would like to thank the Harvard Press for helping to promote our fruit sale event. It is with their help that everyone knows, come March, that the Harvard Lions will be selling their fruit.

John Drummey, president
