of Harvard was the grand champion at the Green Mountain Horse Association 15-Mile Mud Ride Sunday April 26. She rode a 15-year-old chestnut Morgan gelding, Canequin’s Leatherstocking, also known as Natty, and ended the ride with a perfect score of 100. She and Natty beat 37 other competitors, many of whom have been competing in competitive trail rides for years, to gain the top prize.
