The rain wouldn’t let up but thanks to the Fun Fair committee and numerous volunteers, Harvard residents were able to stay dry and enjoy the Fun Fair, sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Organization, indoors at Bromfield.
A tremendous thank-you is due to the following chairpersons who worked long and hard, for more days than expected, to make sure the event went on rain or shine: Carrie Leggett, Daphne Cassin, Virginia Justicz, Ellen Cavanaugh, Lis Karotkin, Susan Downing, Alison Flanagan, Karen Mangiacotti, PTO President Cathryn Noyes, and the PTO board.
Special thanks to Barbi Kelley and staff for walking students from the elementary school to Bromfield after school. Thank you to the Lions Club and Roche Brothers for their continued support each year. A big thanks to Best Buy for donating a portion of the prizes that were raffled off. Lastly, thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to set up, work shifts, and clean up when the fun was over. The event would not be possible without them.
Proceeds from the Fun Fair go directly to the school and that is something we can all be thankful for.
