Selectmen to hold hearing to appeal DEC Evergreen decision
The Board of Selectmen (BOS) plans to join with the Board of Health (BOH) and Harvard residents to ask the Devens Enterprise Commission (DEC) to reconsider its decision two weeks ago to adopt a new protocol for measuring the long-term compliance of the Devens Evergreen Solar plant with DEC noise regulations. A public hearing to agree on final wording of the letter—which DEC must receive within 30 days of the ruling—has been scheduled for noon Friday, Dec. 18, in the Town Hall meeting room.
