On Friday, March 12, Hampshire College will be screening Chris Byler’s feature-length narrative video, Saab Story. The movie, which was written, directed, and edited by Madigan Lane resident Chris Byler as his senior thesis, was shot primarily on location in Harvard and features several Harvard residents in roles ranging from extras to main characters. The screening will be followed by a concert at Hampshire’s Prescott Tavern, headlining Harvard’s own Friday Night Delight. The band’s lead singer, Tyler Borton, plays a major role in the film, as does the band itself. The movie starts at 7 p.m. in Franklin Patterson Hall at Hampshire College (893 West St. in Amherst). Admission to both the screening and reception/concert is free.
