Bromfield teacher Sharon Chandler, daughter of the late Carl and Gloria Chandler of Whitney Road, recently graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Master of Education degree in art education. Completing the required coursework in three semesters, Chandler finished with a grade-point average of 3.93.
She has been awarded a teaching fellowship at the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine, and plans to continue her education with an MFA degree at Vermont College. Chandler has also been hired to teach Fiber Arts at Fitchburg State College as adjunct faculty in the Arts Education graduate program.
