Curry College, in Milton, has announced that Harvard students Hali Burke and Daniel Ockene have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 term. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.30 or above, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a “C” for the semester. Full-time students must carry 12 or more graded credits for the semester.
Katharine Bolton has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at the University of Vermont. Bolton is a senior natural resources major in the Rubenstein School of Environment & Natural Resources. To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Bryant University has announced that the fall-semester dean’s list includes Harvard residents Kevin LaPierre and Brett Miller, both senior accounting majors.
Local students named to the dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2010-2011 year include Pasquale Eckert, son of Blaise Eckert and Daria Petrilli-Eckert of Bolton Road, who is a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in biology; and Jackson Broadbent, son of Eric Broadbent and Susie Macrae of Oak Hill Road, who is a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in philosophy and religious studies. To be named to the dean’s list at Colby College, students must have grade-point averages of 3.6 or higher.
