Thomas Charron, son of Andy and Karen Charron of Shaker Road, is a recipient of the dean’s award for academic excellence during the fall 2010 semester at Colgate University, where he is a member of the Class of 2014. Charron, a 2010 Bromfield graduate, is majoring in computer science and math. He is a member of the Colgate Finance Club and played flag football in the fall.
Sarah Collins, daughter of Dennis and Natasha Collins of Littleton Road and another member of the Class of 2014, also received dean’s award for academic excellence during the fall 2010 semester at Colgate. Collins is currently pursuing French and Middle East studies.
To be eligible for the dean’s award at Colgate, a student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher, while carrying a full course load of four courses per semester.
