This month, Leslie Ekings’ photographs of her travels to Nepal and India are featured on the For Art’s Sake website. Ekings is an avid traveler who creates photo scrapbooks of her journeys. To view her works, go to www.forartssake-harvard.org.
Also this month, The Matrilineal Garden exhibition featuring the artwork of Bromfield art teacher Sharon Chandler Correnty and her daughter Rachel Manly is on display at the old library. Their works include a variety of media including silk screening, mixed media, felting, quilting, painting, sculpture, wool tapestries, collage, watercolor pencils, personal flags, and terrariums, all with a garden theme. The exhibition is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
