Dorothy Solbrig, of Ann Lees Road, placed first in several sections in the hand weaving competition at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield this summer. Those sections include: Class 2 – Non-Instructors in Scarves, Class 1- Best of Division – Adult in Special Awards, and Class 4 – Webs/Valley Fiber Award for Excellence in Weaving in Special Awards.
