The Salvation Army wishes to say thank you again to Harvard residents for their generosity during last year’s Christmas Kettle Campaign. Your donations of over $4,000 enabled the Salvation Army to reach out to the lonely, needy, marginalized, and often forgotten members of our surrounding communities in the most basic and practical ways…all year long!
Most people realize that their kettle donation provides neighboring individuals and families with food, clothing, and a child’s gift during the holiday season. However, did you know that the Salvation Army depends on the kettle campaign donations to provide much needed help and hope to those in need throughout the year? When you give to the Salvation Army, the lasting impact of your donation is priceless.
If you are able to make a monetary donation this season, please look for the Red Kettles at the transfer station and main post office every Saturday in December. Cash, checks, and corporate matching are all gratefully accepted.
Aspiring bell ringers, please contact Terri Neville (terriathome@charter.net or 978-456-0042) to land the best seasonal job you never got a paycheck for! Any amount of time you can donate on these upcoming Saturdays will be greatly appreciated: Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22. Times: Transfer Station, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and post office, 9 a.m. to noon.
