Next Tuesday voters will head to Bromfield cafeteria to elect candidates to fill 17 vacant seats on town boards. Four of those seats are contested: two three-year seats on the Board of Selectmen, and a three-year and a one-year seat on the Planning Board. Following the Harvard Press and League of Women Voters candidates’ debate on April 11, the Press interviewed all seven candidates in order to provide more insight into their approach to town government. The town election is being held in conjunction with a special election to choose Democratic and Republican candidates to run this fall in a general election to fill the position vacated by U.S. Senator John Kerry when he accepted the position of Secretary of State earlier this year.
Polls in Harvard open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
