Hannah Kline, a sophomore at the Bromfield School, will perform in Commonwealth Ballet’s holiday production of “The Nutcracker,” dancing the roles of Columbine Doll, Spanish Girl, Merliton, Snowflake, and Flower.
Hannah, a member of the Commonwealth Ballet Company, will share the stage with more than 75 local performers. As Columbine Doll, she will be partnered by Maleek Washington of Abraham.In.Motion, a dance company based in New York City. Hannah is currently a student at Acton School of Ballet and has attended summer dance programs at Manhattan Youth Ballet, Boston Ballet, Steps on Broadway, Koltun Ballet Academy, and Acton School of Ballet.
Evening and matinee performances of “The Nutcracker” will be held at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, 36 Charter Road, Acton, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. Performances will also be held at Regis College’s Casey Theater, 235 Wellesley St., Weston, from Dec. 20 to Dec. 22. For tickets, visit commonwealthballet.org or call 978-263-7794.
