The election to fill the slot vacated last month by Selectwoman Marie Sobalvarro will be held Nov. 4.
The vote by the four remaining members of the Board of Selectmen at their Tuesday meeting was unanimous. Yet to be decided is a date for a Town Caucus to nominate candidates for the position.
Nov. 4 is the date on which state and national elections will be held in Massachusetts. Harvard voters will choose a new governor as well as other state officers. Also up for election on that day are Harvard’s Fifth District Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, as well as State Senator Jamie Eldridge and State Representative Jen Benson.
