Claiming boomers are ‘overhoused’ overlooks telecommuters and home-based businesses

October 10, 2014

The claim that baby boomers are “overhoused” appears not to be cognizant of the fact that there are numerous telecommuters and home offices here in town. Bedrooms and other rooms have been repurposed as home offices. Companies now encourage workers to telecommute to reduce their business overhead. And, finally, some baby boomers continue to lead productive lives contributing to business, government, and community. I guess that we like it here.
