Mary Jennings of Groton won the grand prize of dinner for two anywhere in the world. Jennings’ adopted rubber duck crossed the finish line first in the 26th annual Ducky Wucky River Race May 7, which was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ayer, Shirley, Harvard, and Devens. Jennings’ duck competed against hundreds of others in this year’s race on the Nashua River. In addition to the grand prize, 43 other prizes were donated by area businesses.
