St. Matthew’s Church offers kids’ camp adventure

June 20, 2016

Welcome to Deep Sea Discovery at St. Matthew’s Church in Acton—July 11-15, 9 a.m. to noon.

Each day begins at Celebration Reef, where kids will sing and shout and be introduced to the daily Bible story and theme. From there, they’ll experience the S.S. Discovery, where they will explore the Bible story in a variety of interactive ways; Pelican Pier, where they have time to move around, have fun, and fill up on snacks; Curiosity Cavern, where kids explore the mysteries of the sea through science and crafts; and E.C.H.O. Sea Sub, where they are encouraged to serve others. All these fun activities connect to the Bible story and learning that God is with us wherever we go.

Registration is open to all kids, ages pre-K through 5th grade. Visit www.saint-matthews.org to sign up. Cost is $40 per child/$60 per family through June 15; $50 per child/$70 per family after June 15. St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church is located at 435 Central Street in Acton, a half-mile north of Idylwilde Farms and a half-mile south of Route 2. Questions? Contact drelizabethsmumc@gmail.com.
