The National Invitational Rowing Championships named Patrick Ware, of East Bare Hill Road and Hobart College, to its all-academic team for the third straight year. To receive all-academic honors, a student-athlete must have completed one full year at the institution, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35, and be recognized as a varsity letter winner.
Elly vandeVaart of Woodside Road has been named to the 2016 spring dean’s list at Northeastern University in Boston for earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher out of 4.0.
Eva Childers of Stow Road, majoring in biology and biotechnology in the Class of 2017, and Peter Donaldson of Willow Road, majoring in electrical and computer engineering in the Class of 2019, have been named to the dean’s list at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for the spring 2016 semester. WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
Sophia Collins of Littleton Road has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Collins is majoring in biology, earned a grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and ranks in the top 20 percent of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Eliza Agosta of Bolton Road has been named to the spring 2016 dean’s list at Bucknell University in Lewiston, Pennsylvania. She earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 and is majoring in electrical engineering.
Sebastian Smalanskas of Lancaster County Road has been named to the dean’s list at Mount Wachusett Community College for spring 2016. He completed a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.99.
