John “Jack” Quinn Jr. of Oak Hill Road was named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2016 semester at Johns Hopkins University. To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. He is a senior majoring in neuroscience.
Janet Sorrells, daughter of Judiann and David Sorrells of Simon Atherton Way, was named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at the University of Rochester. Sorrells is a senior biomedical engineering student.
Theresa Jean-Philippe, a management major from Blanchard Road, achieved dean’s list for the fall 2016 term at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts, for earning a minimum grade-point average of 3.2 out of 4.0.
