More than 18,000 pounds of food was collected during the 25th annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive held last month. It’s a record! Never before in the history of Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry have we collected so many donations during this one-day national event held each year in early May. We are very grateful to the U.S. Postal Service and its employees as well as our local volunteers who worked so hard to make this our most successful drive ever. We are also grateful to everyone who generously contributed to this effort with the gift of food. You provided not only food but also hope to so many of our neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet. Our sincere thanks.
