Worcester State University freshman Hannah LoChiatto of Old Mill Road has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s indoor field athlete and rookie of the week, Monday, Jan. 22.
This past weekend at the Springfield College Maroon & White Classic, LoChiatto placed first in the high jump with a personal record of 1.62 meters (5-03.75) during the jump off. With this result, she currently stands at 15th nationally in the event. LoChiatto also competed in the 400-meter dash (1:05.66) this past weekend.
“Hannah continues to impress week after week,” said Head Coach Andrea Ouellette. “She puts in hard work every day at practice and always has a positive attitude. I can’t wait to see what she can accomplish the rest of the season; the sky is the limit for her!”
