This year’s first-ever Central Massachusetts Athletic Directors Association (CMADA) championships ended Sunday.
The boys soccer team (14-2-1) won its CMADA Division 3 final match 3-2 against Douglas High School on Saturday. But the girls lost theirs 4-2 against Sutton High School later that day. Both teams are top seeds in their division and have qualified for the state tournament. Their first matches will be played Nov. 6 at the FC Star Complex in Lancaster.
Varsity golfers senior Adrian Curtis and sophomore Evan Piekos competed at the statewide MIAA Division 3 championship Nov. 2, at Shining Rock Golf Club in Northbridge, but results were not available in time for this edition of the Press.
The Press has been following six Bromfield varsity teams this fall: boys and girls cross-country, boys and girls soccer, field hockey, and golf—as well as the races of the Bromfield Acton-Boxborough boys and girls rowers.
Girls cross-country
- 10/30 CMADA Midland-Wachusett League C Division championship. Bromfield placed second, with 52 points to Littleton’s 47..

Boys cross-country
- 10/30 Mid-Wach C Division championship. Bromfield edged out Littleton for first place with 42 points.

End of season. The team was not among the top 32 schools of its division and did not qualify for the MIAA Division 4 field hockey state championship
Golf (4-6, 4-8)
- 11/2 MIAA Division 3 State Tournament. Curtis and Piekos competed as individuals. Piekos tied for 10th place with a score of 84 on the 72 par Shining Rock Golf Course. Curtis tied for 30th with a score of 91.
