It’s time for Select Board Chair Don Ludwig, aka “Dluddy,” to go. Any person with such repugnant racist, homophobic, and misogynistic opinions has lost their moral compass. An apology is not enough. I do not want this person representing me in any capacity, certainly not as chair of the Select Board, and not as a voting member until the end of their term either. These attitudes do not belong anywhere in a civil society and it’s past time we said so. This is not “cancel culture”—it is human decency. Let this be a real life lesson; actions have consequences, not excuses.
