Support Sarah Saleh for library trustee

April 4, 2025

We wholeheartedly support Sarah Saleh for library trustee.

We met Sarah nine years ago after antisemitic and anti-Muslim drawings on the Bromfield rock and a Harvard bridge drew us together. We would have probably never met if it wasn’t for the community addressing these hateful events. Since that first meeting, our families have gotten to know each other, learned from each other, and helped each other in so many ways.

Sarah and Ellen, in particular, have worked together on Arm in Arm events for the schools and the community. The focus is always on education and Sarah finds so many ways to help us all learn from each other. She’s creative, organized, thoughtful, and collaborative. She loves the Harvard library and has enriched its programs with her ideas and energy. One can see it in displays she’s created for the library and the expansion of the library’s cookbook club, with a focus on different cultures and their foods each month.

The staff would surely tell you how much they enjoy working with her. Since becoming a citizen last fall, Sarah wants to do even more. Citizenship gives her more opportunity to have a role in the future of the library even though she has always been an active contributor in so many ways. She has so much to offer. Please give Sarah your vote for library trustee.
