Thank you all who supported me in the recent election for library trustee. I’m humbled and honored to have earned your trust and deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our town in this role.
The Harvard Public Library is not just a building—it is a vital hub for learning, connection, and community. With over 72,000 visits last year, more than 400 programs, and a strong commitment to equity and access, we see how the library reflects the very best of what Harvard values: knowledge, inclusion, and service to all.
Now my real work begins. As a new trustee, I am committed to working alongside the wonderful team of trustees, supporting our incredible library director and staff, protecting intellectual freedom, and ensuring that our library continues to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. I look forward to listening to your ideas (snsaleh01451@gmail.com), advocating for sustainable funding, and helping our library remain a welcoming and essential space in our town.
