Warren Avenue resident Jack Magan will be featured in the upcoming musical production of Concord Youth Theatre’s “Emperor’s New Clothes.” In the classic story by Hans Christian Anderson, a fashion-conscious emperor is duped by con men who convince him they are tailors. He ends up wearing his “special” invisible outfit in a parade through town. But what happened afterward? This musical blends jazz, pop, and Broadway to take you all the way from once upon a time to happily ever after with a host of new characters, including a dragon, a cyclops, and even gnomes.

Performances are March 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19; Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 7:30 p.m., and there are 2:30 p.m. shows on Saturdays and Sundays. All will take place at Concord Youth Theatre’s black box theater at 358 Baker Ave. in Concord. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased online at www.concordyouththeatre.org or by calling the CYT box office at 978-371-1482.
