A shoutout to Harvard’s public safety team

September 29, 2016

Achhhh! Car seats! Those of us who transport those nearest and dearest in car seats have lots of challenges: What level is required? How much does the child weigh? How tall are they (including the infants)?

Hats off to our local police for helping with these problems. On Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., dedicated (and certified!) professionals were available to assess car seat installations, check for recalls, check for seats out of date, and re-install safe seats. This grandma is now their greatest cheerleader. I am confident my precious grandchildren are safe in both our cars, and I want to send a huge shoutout to our public safety team. You are a five-star benefit to all residents. Thanks for the event, the installation, the information, the giveaways, and, most of all, for keeping us safe and secure. We appreciate each and every one of you!
