We enthusiastically support Eve Wittenberg for Select Board.
Over the past few years, we have personally worked on town projects with Eve, most notably the invasive species education grant, Bare Hill Pond management plans and drawdowns, and more recently a grant application to help our small farmers. We appreciate her approach to issues, her smart ideas, her analysis and decision-making, and her drive to get things done. She is incredibly dedicated to getting over any hurdles and making things happen. She has been a great collaborator, has a can-do attitude, and is a roll-up-the-sleeves contributor.
Eve brings another perspective to the Select Board having served as chair of the Conservation Commission where she worked on Harvard land management and preservation—what we all cherish as a town and why so many of us live here. She brings this knowledge, matched with her work experience in decision analysis, which is so fitting to the Select Board role, as it is a field of work based on a quantitative and systematic approach to decision making. We believe the combination of her knowledge, serious devotion of time and effort to her town volunteer work, and work experience are a perfect fit for what is needed on the Select Board. We know she will work collaboratively with the other Select Board members as she has with us. We hope you will join us in voting for Eve for the Select Board.
