Harvard Girl Scouts enjoyed a “Fall and Native People” themed encampment with more than 90 energetic Girl Scouts in attendance at Camp Green Eyrie this past weekend. The Girl Scouts would like to thank Mr. Paul Willard for his generous donation of corn husks/silks to our girls to make authentic corn-husk dolls and also for his generosity in sharing cornstalks and veggies to make an authentic “Three Sisters Garden” display so girls could see how local native women gardened in centuries past here in central Massachusetts.
In addition, we thank Mr. Jack Miller of Benchmark Graphics who designed and produced beautiful personalized T-shirts at cost for all our Scouts. We also thank Sue George of Harvard Sweet Boutique for delicious and gorgeous green-and-white decorated cupcakes for all of us!
Thank you to all in our community who continue to support Harvard Girl Scouts. We are very grateful.
