This Sunday, June 15, Harvard has the honor of hosting the Wachusett Muster League’s 88th Annual Firefighters’ Truck Muster. This should be a fun and exciting event that will pit our own Harvard firefighters against teams from Berlin, Bolton, Boylston, Holden, Princeton, Sterling, and West Boylston. Each town takes turns hosting the event, and this year the races will take place in Harvard center on Still River Road, in front of the General Store. This means there will be some rerouting of traffic around the downtown area between noon and 3:30 p.m.
On behalf of the Harvard Fire Department, I want to thank the public in advance for their cooperation and hope this doesn’t create too much of an inconvenience. More importantly, we would really appreciate a big hometown crowd to cheer us on as we compete against these tough teams from around the region. The races are action-packed and exceptionally entertaining to watch. It should be a great Father’s Day outing for the whole family. Once again, thank you for your support and we hope to see everyone there this Sunday!
