Lizzie Douglas, a 2009 Bromfield graduate, has been elected to be the 2011-2012 co-president of Haverford College Students’ Association and will serve as one of two chief officers of the Students’ Council. The Students’ Council is an elected body that advocates on behalf of students, serves as representatives to the Board of Managers, appoints students to all major committees at the college, and distributes the activities budget to all student clubs and groups. Douglas, a history major, has also been selected to be an admissions tour guide and will be conducting tours for the college starting with the 2011 fall semester.
