Jackson Broadbent, a member of the Class of 2013 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named to the dean’s list for his outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2009-2010 year. Broadbent, who is majoring in philosophy and religious studies, is the son of Eric Broadbent and Susie Macrae of Oak Hill Road.
Amelia Mazzola of Poor Farm Road was selected for dean’s list at Fairfield University. Mazzola is a sophomore studying in the Dolan School of Business. To be selected for the dean’s list, a student must attain a grade-point average of at least 3.5, of a possible 4.0.
Scott Road resident Brett Miller, a senior accounting major at Bryant University, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.
