Harvard can use Sobalvarro’s contributions

October 23, 2009

Harvard will benefit promptly by electing Marie Sobalvarro to the Board of Selectmen. She comes from four years on the Finance Committee and will be able to sit down at her first meeting prepared to contribute meaningfully. Marie has kept up with selectmen’s skills to look for information and evidence of activity by reading published minutes both recent and past. When problems arise Marie uses critical thinking skills to look for information and evidence, then will ask questions for clarification and accuracy. Marie makes evidence-based decisions.

We have a public servant who spends time reading minutes and committee reports so discussions are relevant and knowledgeable. Marie has two children in Harvard schools and is aware of school and School Committee activities. I urge voters to elect Marie Sobalvarro—we all can use her contributions.
