Congratulations to the Press on creating a new Harvard hero—the energetic Ms. Spielvogel. Her efforts to keep Harvard litter-free should be an inspiration to us all. I have seen her at work and can testify to her amazing actions.
Our beautiful town track has, unfortunately, become a litter magnet. Each time I go there I see discarded water bottles, sweatshirts, shoes, and all manner of cast-offs. Wouldn’t it be great if the soccer and Frisbee teams made a conscious effort to pick up their own trash after using this magnificent town resource. Let’s hope they decide to follow in Ms. Spielvogel’s tidy footsteps.
Let’s have more stories of Harvard heroes. They deserve the recognition and are fun to read about.
