As there doesn’t seem to have been much feedback on the billing controversy from residents not connected to the ambulance squad, I would add my two cents. I urge the selectmen to reverse their decision to charge a fee for ambulance services. I know it is difficult for people to reverse their own decisions, but this one seems to be causing much more harm than good. The extra revenue is a drop in the bucket—please do not jeopardize our outstanding ambulance service in an unwise effort to save face.
