The Harvard Farmers’ Market has just finished a very successful second season. We were able to grow even beyond our expectations, with more vendors, more sponsors, more music, and many more shoppers. We are so grateful to our wonderful community for supporting these efforts. You have helped us bring local foods to our tables and thereby supported the small farms and purveyors who sell at the Market each Saturday. Thank you so much for embracing the Market and making it a part of weekend life in Harvard.
The Market extends a heartfelt thanks to our incredible volunteers—their dedicated commitment helped make our second season very successful:
Nancy Banker, Sandy Cullinan, Deb D’Eramo, Dennis Delaney, Jocelyn Delaney, Matt Flanagan, Helen Hill, Roe Kolanowski, Kristina Kronauer, Carolena McCauley, Michelle Pappas (the java goddess), Erin Ash Sullivan, Brian Sundeen, and Charlene vandeVaart.
We also express our gratitude to Joan Eliyesil, the Market webmaster, who has worked so hard all season to make our website great. And a huge thank-you to Alison Flanagan, our volunteer coordinator, who organized all of our volunteers for every Market.
Anyone who would like to be a part of the Market next season is invited to contact any of the Market managers, or Alison directly at alisonflanagan@charter.net.
