Volunteers who provided child care during Town Meeting demonstrated commitment to the future of Harvard

May 16, 2025

The Yes for Harvard Ballot Question Committee extends its deepest thanks to the teachers, administrators, and staff of the Harvard Public schools alongside several Bromfield students who generously provided free child care during the recent Town Meeting. Their willingness to step up and serve our community allowed more parents to participate in the democratic process—and for that, the committee is grateful. Thank you for showing up, not just in your classrooms and offices, but for the broader community, too.

The recent election highlighted the diverse perspectives within our community. While we may have differed in our opinions on the ballot question, we are united in our commitment to the well-being of all residents and the future of Harvard.

The collaborative spirit demonstrated by our educators and volunteers during the Town Meeting exemplifies the strength of our community. As we move forward, let us continue to work together with respect, shared purpose, and collaboration for the betterment of Harvard.
