Fourth of July Committee extends thanks

July 11, 2025

The Harvard Fourth of July Committee would like to extend its deep thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s festivities a success.

Many thanks to our sponsors for providing financial support: the League of Women Voters of Harvard, Harvard Chiropractic, the Harvard Republican Town Committee, Beyond Construction Masonry, Prime Fitness and Nutrition, Biztek International, Chestnut Tree and Landscape, Carlson Orchards, and the Taylor School. Thanks to everyone who purchased T-shirts and caps and tossed a few dollars into the donation buckets; it all adds up.

To the Department of Public Works, the Fire Department, and the Police Department, for their behind-the-scenes contributions: thank you.

And thanks are due to the volunteers for their help setting up and running the parade and field events: the Friends of Harvard Soccer, the Harvard Family Association, the Taylor School, Ellen Sachs Leicher, students from the Hildreth and Bromfield schools, and the family members and friends of committee members. We would especially like to acknowledge our year-round volunteers Pat Jennings, Pam Marston, and Colleen McFadden, who might as well be official committee members for all the work they do. And a special shoutout to the couple of families who, unasked, helped us break down the tables and chairs at the end of the day; we have no idea who you are, but we appreciated it.

Thanks to Siwoo Kim for a stirring rendition of the National Anthem.

Thanks to the One Twenty Too band for the excellent music.

No doubt there are others we’ve forgotten. Be assured that your contributions were greatly appreciated.

Rosie Ouellet, Molly Sinkewicz, and Christopher Chalifoux
