Eric Ward has my strongest endorsement for the Select Board. I first heard Eric speaking two years ago at a forum on the 2024 override options. He took a very complex topic and made it understandable. He did this in simple language, without any pretense.
As I’ve gotten to know Eric, I realize that is exactly who he is. Eric is a man without pretense. He is not showy, and does not seek attention. He is hard working and speaks plain truths, after doing all the research and analysis to form his position. In doing so, I’ve seen Eric bring together town members who are often on opposite sides of the same issues, regardless of age group, interests, or duration of Harvard residency.
Eric brings a long history of not just how Harvard got to where it is, but also why Harvard is where it is. He is able to use the how and why to address what needs to change from a process and procedural perspective, to ensure future success for our beautiful town.
Harvard is lucky to have such a deserving candidate running for Select Board.
